Stupid warning labels from actual products.
My favourite has to be
“Warning! This is not underwear! Do not attempt to put in pants.” — On the packaging for a wristwatch

forgive me for my lack of updating

Friday, June 29th, 2001

I’ve been busy. Really busy. Work work, freelance work, the book-writing-boyfriend, the small naughty person, something I can’t tell you just yet, and various geek activities are keeping me too busy to find interesting things to blog this week!

There are so many things I want to do with this site also, for instance – the homepage which has various new incarnations sat on my hard drive waiting for me to make my mind up what to do, several new tutorials I am itching to write and ideas for Dreamweaver extensions that are piling up…. gah! Maybe I could clone myself…?

Too busy being a geek to blog…

The PHP and MySQL install was eventually a success so I have something new to play with – hence my silence here!

While battling with MySQL I came across Developer Shed which is fullof interesting and well written articles and tutorials on open source web development topics.

music

Saturday, June 23rd, 2001

Last night Drew and I went to see Kate Rusby’s gig. Neither of us had heard of her – there was an article in the local rag about the gig so we thought we’d chance it – it was well worth the chance.

If you like folk music, she is someone worth keeping an eye out for.
