End of an era

So Netscape is no more. To me as a web developer it probably makes little difference, the Mozilla Project continues, there are lots of good alternatives to Internet Explorer around … but it does seem like the end of an era, and its sad that the work that was going on at DevEdge will stop and that good people are either out of work or uncertain as to their futures …

Too Darn Hot

It’s very hot and sticky here, I’m from the North, I don’t recollect it ever getting close to this hot up in Newcastle (I do however remember standing waiting for buses at 6a.m. in gale force winds and sleet …) I am working surrounded by fans and an underpowered aircon unit – more to keep the pooters cool than me. Roll on autumn …
