Thea Gilmore has a new single (two singles in fact) released yesterday as well as an album due out on the 11th August. She has been one of my favourite artists since I bought her album The Lipstick Conspiracies, just because it looked interesting, a couple of years ago.

I saw Thea some years ago at Bristol where she was last minute support for Eddi Reader. Distinct voice, great lyrics : why do so few artists like this make it big? Here’s hoping…..
