WaSP Street Team
Yesterday the Web Standards Project held our Annual Meeting at SXSW in Austin. Not all of us could be there in person, so while the conference-attending WaSPs answered questions at the open meeting, the virtual attendees launched the WaSP Street Team site as it was announced.
The Street Team is based on the concept of record company Street Teams, groups of supporters who can spread the word in their local area. We need you to help get the word out on the street, into the places where web standards still aren’t on the radar. We’ll be announcing our first Street Team project very soon, in the meantime check out the Street Team website and sign up to the announcements list to keep up to date.

I signed up but there is a problem with the form. I had to scroll down the page to see the next field after the email address and then scroll down again before I saw the Subscribe button. This is in ie6 on Windows XP and I’m sure a different browser as well.
