She has been one of my favourite artists since I bought her album The Lipstick Conspiracies, just because it looked interesting, a couple of years ago.

Neither of us had heard of her – there was an article in the local rag about the gig so we thought we’d chance it – it was well worth the chance.

If you like folk music, she is someone worth keeping an eye out for.
